A friendship for life, Liz and Tanya founded Dolly & Doe in 2020 to release creative desires which were just about bubbling over. Friends for almost two decades, both have backgrounds in retail, a passion for lovely things and a shared love of thoughtful gifting!
The love of gifting had Liz and Tanya putting together a boxes of little gifts for birthdays or special occasions, the delight of the recipient enjoying unwrapping each gift gave them a buzz too. Dolly & Doe was born from this shared enjoyment of gifting and the admiration of UK artisans, designers and small businesses offering the consumer an alternative to mass produced or unethical products.

We love our online gift service and every order that we receive is parcelled with care and sent on its way to raise a smile, that’s a good feeling!
A partnership which works with our strengths; Tanya has a very good eye and loves sourcing unique, beautifully made items to fill our gift boxes she is also very creative and handy on the sewing machine, making our fabric items and hand cut crackers which are a big hit at Christmas. She loves taking photos of our products and especially likes curating bespoke boxes for our customers.
Liz has a long term love of stationary and enjoys sending friends silly cards through the post as she lives far away from some of them. She is the web builder and the social media voice, thoroughly enjoys sourcing unique products to present to our customers but above all, she enjoys wrapping the gift boxes and sending them on their way.
Together, we look for great quality in an item, ethical brands with an inspiring story to tell. Combining what we both love allows Dolly & Doe to showcase really unique combinations of gifts and it gives us a thrill to think we are spreading some happiness around with our gift boxes.
